Who Is Sevier Power?
Ken M. Flake
Mr. Flake is the principle developer of the Sevier Power Project. He was also the principle developer of the first co-gen plant in the State of Nevada. Located in Henderson, the plant produces electricity for the cities of Henderson and Las Vegas as well as providing steam for Ocean Spray. A little side note: Region 9, of the Environmental Protection Agency, is charged with the responsibility of enforcing the emissions in that area and on more than one occasion has tested the output of the Henderson Plant and determined that the air coming out is cleaner than the air going in. Imagine that, a plant that actually cleans the air.
Rodney Clark
Mr. Clark has spent more than 25 years with the Los Angeles Department of Power and Water. During that time he was responsible for the construction of the IPP Power Project located in Delta, Utah. At the time, it was the single largest and most expensive project every built in the state of Utah. Thanks to his leadership and experience the IPP project came in on time and on budget.
Craig Cox
Mr. Cox has spent more than twenty years with Utah Power & Light and was instrumental in the development of the Hunter Plant. During his time with PacifiCorp he was invaluable in the planning and construction of many of the high-tension lines that cross the state. After leaving PacifiCorp he helped make IPP a reality by encouraging his family to provide a large portion of the land and water necessary for IPP.
Clark M. Mower
Mr. Mower worked for El Paso acquiring and developing new and existing gas and solid fuel plant across the US. He is experienced in overseeing large-scale construction and is well known for his expertise in contract negotiations. Before becoming involved with El Paso he was charged with settling the affairs of Bonneville Power.
Bruce Taylor
Mr. Taylor has been involved in commercial, industrial and residential development for over twenty years. During the last eight years he has been a principle in SPC as well as working as a consultant for Magna Energy Systems.
